Symbol Stacking

The symbol stacking feature allows you to easily create and move chart stacks of the same symbol.

Example

Three charts are floating. A EURUSD,H4 chart is positioned in the right half of the screen. A USDJPY,M15 chart is positioned in the left half of the screen. A EURUSD,M15 and EURUSD,M30 chart is positioned behind the USDJPY,M15 chart. Pressing the symbol stacking button on the EURUSD,H4 chart will cause the EURUSD,M15 and EURUSD,M30 chart to be placed behind the EURUSD,H4 chart. Additionally, they will be resized to be the same size of the EURUSD,H4 chart. In other words, every EURUSD chart that is floating will be moved and resized to the same position and size as the EURUSD,H4 chart.

Notes

• The search for symbol matches only includes charts owned by that instance of MetaTrader.
  Example:
  You open two instances of MetaTrader because you have accounts with two brokers. On instance 1, you float the charts, 1A, 1B, and 1C. On instance 2, you float the charts 2A, 2B, and 2C. On chart 1A, you press the symbol mapping button. Floating Charts will check 1B and 1C for symbol matches, but NOT 2A-C. On chart 2B, you press the symbol mapping button. Floating Charts will check 2A and 2C for symbol matches, but not 1A-C.
